South B is dominated by Apartments, mostly 3,3,4 bedroom houses. The estate is approximately 4 kilometres from Nairobi CBD.
Before you start looking for a house in South B,you should be armed with some facts. The first bitter truth is that if your salary is below Ksh 150, 000, you won’t afford a two bedroom apartment and if your salary is below Ksh 50, 000, don’t bother to look for a house in this estate.
Another bitter fact is that bungalows and mansions are eclipsed by Apartments. There are limited houses for people who love privacy. But if you get one, you will be forced to pay higher than you would pay for an apartment.
The most interesting part of South B is that there are good roads, water is in plenty and drainage system is perfect. There are also plenty of schools for those with school going children.
Another thing that would motivate you into moving to South B is traffic jam.South B is located just after Nyayo Stadium, so after negotiating the Traffic jam at Nyayo, you will never get traffic again because you will branch through Kenya Institute of Mass Communication.
But how exactly do you get a house at South B?
If you need a house at South B,the best thing to do is, visit the estate, move around asking for any vacant house(I am sure a day is enough to get a vacant house).I will advise you to avoid middle men because they might mislead you.
