Airtel Kenya is smiling all the way to the bank after NASA supporters migrated from Safaricom.
The Indian company has already received 500,000 customers from Safaricom, several others are expected to quit the company from today after Raila indicated he will publicly boycott Safaricom products.Already,Raila has acquired his ‘special number’ from Airtel and by 4 pm today, he will change his SIM card to Airtel and urge all his supporters to do the same.
Airtel has in the recent past witnessed inflow of customers.The management are now contemplating increasing their work force and in few weeks to come,they will advertise for employment.
It’s almost a week since NASA urged their supporters to boycott Safaricom, Brookside and Bidco products. These companies have indicated that business has gone down since then.Safaricom has sought audience with Raila but the Enigma has told them off.
It will be a tragic ending to several companies that played politics during the just concluded elections.
