Danson Mungatana is currently hoping from one office to the other in search of employment. The former Assistant Minister is in a situation no one would want to be—he is just desperate.
Hon. Danson Buya Mungatana is a Kenyan Lawyer who served as the Member of Parliament for Garsen Constituency between 2002 and 2013. He also served as an Assistant Minister in the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs in President Kibaki’s Administration. The fluent Kiswahili speaker recently applied for the position of Tana River County Secretary -a position he did not get. He has subsequently applied to be considered for the position of Clerk of the County Assembly of Tana River
Danson has made frantic calls to top Jubilee leaders but none is ready to listen to him. The former Assistant Minister, who ate life with a big spoon when he was the minister, needs a job and prayers.
Mungatana’s Downfall started when he married two women: Mwanaisha Chidzuga and Cecilia Mwangi.He was able to manage both when he was the Minister, but after he lost his bid for MP Garsen , Cecilia dumped him. Later it emerged that Mungatana was dead broke.
As poverty continued to bite, the former MP tried his luck in county jobs but it seems he is not lucky anymore. What he needs now is prayers.
