There are over 1000 shops where to buy cheapest phones in Nairobi, but only a few where to buy genuine ones. Since most Kenyans are on fixed budget, buying expensive gadgets is outside their imaginations, which tells why information about cheap and genuine phones is useful.
There’s something that happened to me some time back, about two years ago. I went to purchase a phone along Moi Avenue street. My eyes had feasted on an infinix phone that I seriously wanted to own. This time,I had gotten Ksh 12,000 from unexpected deal. Since Moi Avenue was on my mind at the time,I went round to see whether I could get my ideal phone.Luckily,I got one at a shop near Nation Center.
Going home head high, I started using the smartphone, but the unexpected happened. Barely three weeks later, the phone started switching itself off. At first I thought it was a meager problem and ignored it.The worst happened when it completely failed to switch on.
I went back to Moi Avenue where I bought the smartphone and on reaching the shop, I was told the phone did not have a sale warranty so it’s upon me to accept the reality.
From the bitter experience, I decided not to buy a phone from fake shops.Today,I am cautious.
When you’re in Nairobi and you want a cheap phone, here are places to buy a genuine smartphone:
Jumia
Jumia has stood out, not even Masoko can compete with the ecommerce company in terms of price and customer service.
What I like most about Jumia is that their phones are not only genuine, they are also lowly priced. For instance,Masoko will price a smartphone at Ksh 13,000 and when you visit Jumia you will find the same phone priced at Ksh11,000.
For people interested to buy online, it’s only Jumia that can guarantee quality and affordable phones. You can purchase any phone through this link
Luthuli Avenue
I always shop at Luthuli Avenue when I don’t find the phone I am looking for at Jumia.Luthuli Avenue is where the stores for newly imported phones are situated. One thing you will be assured of when you go for shopping at Luthuli is that you will hardly get a fake phone. The phones are also unbelievably cheap.
To conclude, I know you have heard of Kilimall,Masoko and other stores within Nairobi. I will advise you to consider them if you don’t have other options!Kilimall has serious negative reviews online, which is as a result of poor customer service and poor quality smartphones!
