A Top Jubilee blogger has disappeared with Ksh50,000 that was meant to pay other bloggers. The blogger is said to have went underground yesterday following leaked information that some Jubilee politicians were looking for him.
It’s said that the micro-bloggers who have since exposed the lead blogger are paid Ksh300 to comment on anyone defending Deputy President Ruto.In their contract, one has to generate high voltage comments on the walls of popular Kikuyu personalities. The target for each micro-blogger is 30 comments per day where each comment costs Ksh10.One example is when Pauline Njoroge posted something on her wall, for the first time the update attracted over 500 comments. Most of the comments were generated by the paid bloggers.
This year, a politician contracted the bloggers to taint the name of Ruto, hence changing the perception of Central Kenya electorate towards the Deputy President. The idea here is to ensure Ruto does not ascend to power.
The same micro-bloggers were identified commenting vigorously on the wall of Raila Odina. In the update that generated over 20,000 comments,Raila had wished Kenyans happy Easter Holidays when the bloggers took advantage of the ignorance of Raila’s followers to start fire. The followers fall for the trap of the bloggers and eventually,Raila was literary alienated from his supporters.
It’s reported that the bloggers learnt from Cambridge Analytica how things are done. They are now advancing the knowledge on Facebook.
