300

Being blacklisted by CRB is one of the worst thing for a person aspiring to get employed by the government or one that’s in need of a loan. Sometimes you may not be aware that you’re blacklisted by the institution unless you confirm from the companies mandated with ensuring loans are not defaulted.

In the recent past youths have found themselves being listed by CRB and some of the causes include:

  • Defaulting Mshwari Loan
  • Defaulting Helb loan
  • Defaulting bank and SACCO loans
  • Defaulting Tala loans

In short, any individual reported to the CRB for defaulting a loan will find their name listed among defaulters by CRB

There are three main companies that can help you confirm whether you are listed by CRB, they include;

It’s recommended that you avoid waiting until the last minute to get the report. For instance, if you got the HELB loan and you have not been paying since you completed college, there are high chances you are listed by CRB.If you took a loan from Tala or Mshwari and you didn’t bother to repay, you are listed by CRB.The best thing is to contact them and take appropriate action.
