Receptionist
Job Responsibilities
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
- Assist in bookings and reservations
- Operate the switchboard
- Attend to all routes of room bookings, such as online, phone, and in person.
- Maintain orderliness and cleanliness at the front area
- Answer telephone calls and in-person queries related to the hotel services and resolve any issues
- Process guests’ check ins and outs
- Prepare and complete room and restaurant bills
- Assist guests’ in storing valuables in secure deposit box
- Liaise with other departments of hotel
- Handle payments through cash, cheques and credit cards
Qualifications
- A diploma or certificate in Business Management
- Must have at least 3 years experience working in a hotel, preferably as a receptionist
- Excellent Communication skills
- Good Customer service skills
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Must be orderly.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Good crisis management skills

Job Responsibilities
- Retrieve, sort, and file all information
- Read all kinds of incoming material to establish essential information, for example content or title
- Maintain an arranged file room
- Assist in training of other clerical staff in scanning key documents
- Maintain a day by day productivity log of scanning and indexing activities
- Interact with clients, visitors, staff and the public
- Copy and fax, sort mail, hand out reports and memos
- Sort material in accordance with filing system used
- Collect materials to be filed from company and staff
- Stamp files and materials received
- Record materials removed and take back those not returned
- Assist with typing as required
- Screen and direct incoming calls
- Determine routine problems in office
- Place essential papers and materials in files
- Take photographs of all records by means of microfilming equipment

Job Responsibilities
- Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities.
- Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
- Enters customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format.
- Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
- Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data.
- Tests customer and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data; reviewing output.
- Secures information by completing data base backups.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

Job Qualifications
- Must conversant with quick books and pastel Accountingpackages
- Experience in a distributor industry is an added advantage.
- Experience in statutory deductions.
- Familiar with stock control system.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team
- Must have a good understanding of financial concepts and pay keen attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and get things done to completion. Able to meet strict deadlines

Responsibilities
- Data entry in the accounting system which include; Cash sales posting, creditors invoice posting, petty cash posting and reconciliation, Cheques posting and any other relevant accounts records posting
- Daily Sales ledger and creditors ledger accounts reconciliation
- Regular cash book reconciliation
- Assisting in preparation of daily and monthly reports
- Ensuring financial transactions are properly recorded and entered into the computerized accounting systems
- Ensuring regular invoicing, receive and receipt payment
- Administering VAT and processing returns
- Administering the company’s payroll and associated statutory requirements (PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, leave)
- Undertaking daily banking functions and bank reconciliations. Deal with daily petty cash.
- Undertaking the preparatory work for the annual audit of accounts and assisting in implementation of audit recommendations
- Undertaking any ad hoc duties associated with the accounts function, including maintaining financial files and records, and photocopying.
- Ensuring all filing is done in a timely, accurate and organised manner
- Carrying out other related tasks as might be required from time to time
