Elizabeth Karitu, an Assistant County Commissioner based in Lukenya, Machakos County has been arrested for allegedly misplacing National Exams Container keys.

Elizabeth was the custodian of the exam container keys at Lukenya.Reports indicate that she had left the keys in her handbag which was inside her private car when they were stolen. She reported the matter to the Ministry of Education for action.

It’s believed that Elizabeth might have helped cartels to leak the KCSE and KCPE exams that are about to start. The Assistant Commissioner has been arrested and she is being interrogated.

The Ministry has assured Kenyans that the container is being guarded by security personnel even as they conduct investigations.
