Stacy Michuki, the granddaughter of the late John Michuki is the new Miss Universe Kenya 2019.The billionaire’s offspring was crowned on 20 October 2019 in Nairobi and she is slated to represent Kenya at the Miss Universe 2019 pageant scheduled to take place on 19 December in Seoul, South Korea.
Despite coming from an affluent background, nothing could deter her from beating hundreds of other contestants for the title. She beat several contestants who include singer Akothee’s daughter Aggry Dion Okello aka Rue Baby.Akothee’s daughter finished second.
“Being a model has been the best thing that has happened to me. It allows me to be someone I am not every day,” said Stacy after her win.
“I’m so happy! I want to thank everyone who supports my journey and above all, I want to thank God because this battle was also fought on my knees!”
John Michuki must be a happy man wherever he is resting. Congratulations Stacy.
