Ex-President Daniel Arap Moi re-admitted to Nairobi Hospital for routine check-up four days after being discharged, spokesperson Lee Njiru says. The former president was admitted on Monday morning and might be discharged in the course of the week.
The 95-year-old has been suffering from breathing problems, a condition that requires routine check-ups. Last week there were rumours that he had died but it was confirmed later that he was in ICU.
Moi is about to celebrate his 96th birthday but it seems days are dragging due to his constant illness. Over the past 3 months, he has been in hospital more than 3 times, something that is rare for him.
We wish him quick recovery.
