When selling an item on Facebook such as shoes, clothes or anything else, please try to write some content to accompany the photos. Posting a picture without being accompanied by description of the item and other details may not reach many people. On Facebook or Google, the longer the content, the more people the content reaches.
Assuming that you want to post a photo of shoes you’re selling, don’t just post the photo—indicate the size, cost, location, manufacturer, type of shoes. You can even go further and list some of the celebrities or famous personalities wearing the same. Make sure the content is at least one paragraph long.
I have seen many people complain that they post things on Facebook and they don’t get reactions. It’s because Facebook does not suggest the same to many people. Shockingly, only less than 10% of your friends see what you post, simply because you only posted a photo without clear details. Facebook has to learn what the item is about in order to suggest to other people, even those who aren’t your friends.
Ensure that the photos you post are original.Do’t lift photos from Facebook and Google then post as yours. Take photos of the products you are selling and post without using other people’s photos.
You should also post on regular basis so as to attract as many buyers as possible.
What many people aren’t aware of is that when they use personal accounts to market their items, the reach is small but when they create a page for the same, they get more customers because the page is more professional than a personal account.
