Maina Kageni might soon find it hard to host his popular morning show at Classic FM after the Kenya Films and Classification board wrote to Radio Africa demanding rescheduling of the program to late hours of the day.

The morning program, which is aired by Classic FM,is the most popular show in major towns in Kenya and features stories deemed unfit for children under the age of 18.The body which is mandated with the responsibility of regulating entertainment content in the country believes that Maina’s show is not fit to be aired between 5 am to 10 am, and instead suggests for rescheduling to 10 pm -12 am.

The show is hosted by Mwalimu Kingangi and Maina Kageni, who ooze a lot of following and attract advertisement in the tune of billions annually.

Also not spared was Citizen TV which features Bi Msafwiri, who appears on the station during nipashe news. Her program, though popular, might be rescheduled too, according to Kenya Films and Classification board.
