Kameme FM Suffers a Blow as Njoki Wa Mburu Quits To Join Radio Africa’s Gukena FM

Radio Africa, which owns Radio Jambo, Classic FM, The Star, Kiss FM and many other stations is set to start a new vernacular station. The fastest growing media house in Kenya has poached Njoki Wa Mburu from Uhuru’s Kameme FM, leaving fans confused.

Njoki Wa Mburu will head the newest Kikuyu station Gukena FM which will be launched this month. She will also be tasked with coming up with new and exciting programs that will attract listeners from Kikuyu community.

Njoki is expected to earn three times her current salary. Currently she earns Ksh 100,000-Ksh150, 000, meaning that she has moved to greener pastures.
