Mzee Ojwang’ was born in 1937 and died in 2015.He was an actor in Vitimbi show and Kenyans loved him to the last man.He played the role of Mama Kayai’s husband and throughout his stay at the program many Kenyans believed that Kayai was his real wife.
Mzee Ojwang died two weeks ago at Kenyatta National Hospital where he was rushed after feeling chest pains.He died shortly.
He was one of the few Kenyans who could keep the entire crowd entertained for hours and even demand for more.
He will be missed by comedy lovers,close associates and the entire republic for pioneering the comedy industry which has grown tremendously over the past 10 years.
The industry has given birth to Daniel Ndambuki aka Mwalimu Kingangi,Eric Omondi, Walter mongare aka Nyambane and many other popular comedians in the country.
