Dr Miguna miguna is still rotting at Githunguri Police cells. He was arrested on Friday morning at his Runda home and taken to Guthunguri police cell.Later,the court ordered for his release on Ksh50,000 cash bail but the government refused to release him, claiming armed youths at Githunguri blocked the road to prevent his movements.
The lawyer has been silently suffering at the cell where the only meal available is Cabbage, tea and beans. It’s reported that since Miguna was detained, he has been having a running stomach. In addition, the former Raila advisor has slept on the floor for two good days.
What’s more shocking is that Luo MPs and politicians have abandoned him because his star has been rising ever since he made himself NRM General. The legislatures fear that Miguna might easily inherit Raila’s supporters if his fame continues soaring. It’s only Edwin Sifuna who has made frantic efforts to secure Miguna’s freedom, some ODM legislatures are in fact happy Miguna is suffering.
