Alfred Mutua has finally reacted after the Supreme Court overturned his win.In a statement to us,he wrote:
“I respect the Court of Appeal but disagree with their findings which clearly demonstrate they misunderstood the facts and the Law. I have moved to the Supreme Court.
I, therefore, continue serving my people as the duly elected Governor of Machakos.
IMPORTANT:
1. I continue serving as Governor – I have appealed;
2. The court ruled I never committed any election offense;
2. Those smiling thinking I will slow down on demanding of lifestyle audits of leaders, need to know I will now be on turbo. The corrupt must be dealt with.
If Machakos goes to the elections again,Wavinya Ndeti might carry the day.
