Deputy President William Ruto has appeared for an interview to be the flagbearer of UDA presidential candidate position. The interview, which took more than 1 hour sought to know what Ruto will do for Kenyans if he became president. The interviewers were also interested to know why he thinks he is the most suitable candidate.
Ruto, who will obvious carry the day ,is competing against Tracy Wanjiru and Orina Jephanei for the presidential candidate ticket. Each of them paid Ksh1 million for the nomination.
After the nomination,he will then join hands with Musalia mudavadi and Moses Wetangula.They will together Face Raila Odinga,Uhuru Kenyatta ,Kalonzo Musyoka and other leaders for presidential contest.
This year’s presidential contest will be between Raila Odinga and William Ruto.Raila is projected to win in round one with over 52% of the total votes cast.
