Former Raila Odinga adviser has been released from Industrial Area jail after spending three days in the congested room.
Sources indicate that a phone call from State House saved the man from further embarrassment following reports that he was unable to pay Ksh 2 million bond which was required from him to be released.
His co accused Jeff Koinange managed to pay the required amount and he was set free while Tony Gachoka was hand cuffed and escorted to Industrial Area Prison.
The two were accused of soiling a businessman’s name during Jeff Koinange Live Program on KTN.The businessman proceeded to court demanding compensation for defamation.
