Bolo Bespoke is the Luo man who spent Ksh 20 million on his wedding—he married a Kamba woman. Over the weekend, Bolo was in Ukambani where he married Mis Mueni and was officially recognized as the husband. The two have been together for 9 years. They met while Bolo was selling sugarcane in Umoja. That time he was living in a bedsitter. Mueni was from high school,young and new in Nairobi.
Bolo had completed school at Oriwo Boys and was just husting in Nairobi. In 2017, the idea of starting a tailoring shop and fashion company was born—it was introduced by Mueni. Bolo bought the idea ad they together started designing clothes. Later, they would get engaged and sire 2 kids.
They business has blossomed, earning them millions of cash. Bolo has become a millionaire; he is now one of the who is who in the Kenyan business world.
Over the weekend, as a token of appreciation, the Luo man gathered alongside other top Luo celebrities in Ukambani. Even Mama Ida Odinga was present. Mueni and Bolo’s wedding can be classified as the wedding of the year.
In a span of 9 years, Bolo has turned around things—thanks to his wife who came up with the business idea.
