Former interior CS Fred Matiangi has joined Rigathi Gachagua. The two held a closed door meeting where they deliberated on various issues. Among the issues is who will contest against Ruto in 2027.
Matiangi,who jetted back to the country last week. He has been silent until today when he publicly took a photo with Gachagua and other opposition leaders. Below is a list of leaders in the meeting:

Gachagua will officially announce his party in May 2025. Few weeks later,they will start organising the opposition to defeat Ruto.
At the moment,Ruto is so unpopular. Matiangi is the candidate who will defeat him in 2027.
