Ruto is likely to pick Kalonzo Musyoka as his running mate in 2027. Below is how he will manage Gachagua and Kalonzo to win in 2027:
How Ruto will manage Kalonzo Musyoka
HOW will William Samoei Ruto try to manage Kalonzo Musyoka in the next few months or ahead of December 2026?
1. He will try to convince Kalonzo to be his running mate in 2027. Kalonzo might take the bait for several reasons.
A) If Kalonzo decides to be on the ballot Presidential candidate 2027, he needs big financial resources which he doesn’t have.
B) If he decides to be another candidate’s running mate, then he has to be the candidate will win. If the candidate loses, Kalonzo will be in the cold for another 5 years.
C) Age. In 2027 Kalonzo will be 74 years. If he supports a candidate who will go for 10 years, it means 2037 he will be 84 years. He might prefer to support Ruto who will only be seeking one more term so Kalonzo can try it in 2032 at the age of 79.
Making Kalonzo a running mate will entail convincing Kithure Kindiki that he has no numbers anywhere on earth. Kindiki may be headed to becoming governor of Tharaka if not back to Senator or Speaker.
How Ruto will manage Rigathi Gachagua
WITH the change of political landscape, William Samoei Ruto is going to try out several things in the next couple of months in efforts to manage the situation. The several things will touch on H.E. Rigathi Gachagua, EGH, Kalonzo Musyoka, Raila Odinga and Kithure Kindiki. I will analyse my thoughts on each, in different posts.
1. THE High Court will “be made” to declare that Gachagua impeachment was unconstitutional and unlawful ab initio. RIGGY G will be paid all his dues backdated to the impeachment night.
Okay, the impeachment was unconstitutional but William will make sure the court issues that declaration and not any other. For about four or five reasons.
A) To at least lower Riggy G’s firebrand attacks on him ahead of 2027. Ruto’s attack dogs have made it absolutely clear that he is the thorn in the KK government.
B) This will be to try and ensure Riggy G is convinced he can also run for President and therefore there will be no united opposition.
C) To try and please and endear himself to Mt Kenya. Ruto.still.believes Mt Kenya is the Ex who would still love him if he did the right things especially with Gachagua.
D) To prepare for the loss in 2027. William would not want to go back to Sugoi with a debt against RIGGY G. Especially an impeachment debt
Next is how to manage Kalonzo. This will be interesting
