Comedian Jalango has announced that he will be contesting for Nairobi Senator seat. He will be competing against Edwin Sifuna.
Jalango,who won the Langata Parliamentary Seat in 2022 believes that he can defeat Sifuna. He will contest under ODM party.
Kenyans believe that Jalango is being sent by President Ruto to contest for the Senator seat bearing in mind that Sifuna has issues with ODM.However,it will be difficult for Jalango to win the race based on Sifuna’s popularity.
Opinion polls conducted on Facebook show that Sifuna will win by more than 60% of the votes cast. His popularity is so high that nobody will dare challenge him and win.
