ABIDJAN, Côte d’Ivoire, 19 October 2026 – YellowBet has announced a new partnership with Emmanuel Eboué, one of Côte d’Ivoire’s most popular footballers, who will be the face of YellowBet across its African markets.
Born in Abidjan, Eboué came through the ranks at ASEC Mimosas, the club famous for developing young talent. From there he made his way to Europe and became a fixture at Arsenal, where his tireless running, versatility and flair made him a favourite at the Emirates. His time in London included a run to the UEFA Champions League Final. He later moved to Galatasaray, helping the Istanbul side to a league title in Türkiye.
For his country, Eboué played 79 times and participated in 2 FIFA World Cups and 5 African Nations Cup tournaments. The fans of the Elephants will remember him not only for his dynamic nature and his capacity, but also for the evident joy that he felt every time he pulled on the orange shirt.
The partnership features two people who share a passion for African football. Over the coming months, Eboué will create a variety of football-themed content for YellowBet’s fans – from behind-the-scenes stories and match-day moments to fan challenges. The first taste arrived this week, when Eboué starred in a playful social media clip with YellowBet’s Sandise Sibanda, teasing the tone of what is to come.
Eboué said he has “always looked good in yellow and blue”, so joining Team YellowBet felt natural. He explained that football has given him the chance to connect with people across the world, and that he particularly loves “the passion we Africans have for the game”. He added that YellowBet’s big ambitions and positive energy as a brand resonated with him, and that he is looking forward to working with the team.
“Football has always been about bringing people together, whether in Abidjan, Douala, Conakry, or Nairobi,” he said. “If YellowBet and I can make supporters smile while celebrating the game we all love, then that’s special.”
Sandise Sibanda said few players are remembered as fondly as Eboué. “His football achievements speak for themselves, but it is his personality, energy and connection with supporters that make him such a strong fit for YellowBet,” he said.
Sibanda added that the brand wants to be entertaining, positive and football-focused, and that Eboué embodies those qualities. “We’re really excited about what we are going to create together,” he said.
The signing reflects YellowBet’s determination to work with big names closely connected to football communities throughout the continent, creating events to celebrate the beautiful game both on and off the field.
