Julius Yego,the You Tube athlete, proved a champion on Sunday when he broke,African,Diamond League and African Records in Javelin.
Yego managed to beat his opponents with a 91.39 m throw which put him at position 9 in the list of World best Javelin athletes.
Yego took an early lead with 85.95m in the first round but Trinidad and Tobagoโs London 2012 Olympic Games champion Keshorn Walcott moved ahead of him and into pole position with a national record of 86.43m in round three.
Finally it was Yego’s time and he he did it;91.39m.
Yego started developing interest in Javelin at a tender age,his father was forced to buy him a phone so that he could train after watching You Tube videos related to Javelin game.
