The Nairobi county commissioner has released the list of roads that will be closed for the public during the three day visit by United States President Barack Obama in Nairobi.
The roads to be closed on Friday as from 2 pm are Mombasa road, Uhuru highway and Waiyaki way.
Thika road, Limuru road and Wainyaki Way will be closed on Saturday.
According to Nairobi county police commandant Benson Kibue, Over 10, 000 police officers will provide security in Nairobi during President Obama’s stay in Nairobi
The officers will work with United States security personnel in providing security and patrols during the three days.
During Obama’s visit,M-PESA services and Mobile network will not be functioning as normal.
