A 20-year-old woman has killed eight people in the city of Maiduguri, Nigeria.
Reports say the middle aged woman detonated her explosives on internally displaced people, among them women and children, killing 8 on the spot and injuring dozens.
Responding to frequent attacks by Boko Haram, Military spokesman Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman stated that the Nigerian Military have vowed to deal with the terror group mercilessly and eliminate them before the end of 2015. Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman confirmed that the Sunday attacks were orchestrated on the innocent Nigerians by the group and promised calm as the military prepares to launch deadly attacks on the troublesome group.
“There’s a new collective zeal and determination on the part of the citizenry to ensure that Boko Haram is defeated, is degraded, that it will no longer have the capacity to cause mayhem and wanton destruction of lives and property by the end of the year,” Usman said
The attack comes a few days after terror attack in a hotel in Mali, which led to the death of over 25 people with a number sustaining serious injuries.
