Over 100 job seekers traveled to Nairobi on Monday 28, 2015 for a job interview at Jade Financier Consultants located at Geomaps Centre, fifth floor, southern wing at 10am only to realize they had been conned.
According to one of the job seekers, they had applied for the job in November 2015 and their prayers were answered when they received an email indicating they had been shortlisted for interviews.
The interview email required them to pay Sh200 to a number, 5173 3500 0016 8020, which could cater for their credit rating at the Credit Reference Bureau.
The email, which was posted by Ms Laura Mshindi, said that the successful applicants would start their duties on January 4, 2016 with a monthly salary of Ksh 24,000
The job seekers, who had absconded Christmas for the interview, went to Geomaps building only to be told the company does not exst.Some of them were seen at Uhuru Park walking aimlessly as they call anyone and anybody to pour their frustrations.
