A Kenyan woman referred to as Atwara was today paraded in Tanzania streets after she was caught stealing handbags.
The authority caught her in a popular shop, then printed a banner with a message “’Mimi ni Mwizi kutoka Kenya” and ordered her to walk along the streets of Dar es Salaam.
The accusers claim the lady has developed a habit of stealing innocent people’s property. Last week she stole a handbag from exhibitor Conference centre mlimani city, and after realizing the proceeds were sweet, she came for another one. But her 40 days had reached.
