A middle age Kenyan has revealed how she lost Ksh 90,000 to Public Likes. Below is Irene’s story.
“I am Irene, a bitter Kenyan who lost Ksh90,000 to Public Likes. This is what happened to me.
In June 2017 I was introduced by my friend who had just earned her Ksh 18,000 from Public Likes.I thought this was a nice idea to make extra cash while using no energy. Joining was free.
After I joined, I was able to make Ksh 18,000 in my first month. The money was sent to my MPESA account. After I received the cash, I thought it was a genuine thin, so I went straight to my bank savings,Ksh 90,000,withdrew the money and sent to Public Likes account, I was able to upgrade to business gold plan. This plan would guarantee me Ksh 390,000 per month-I was excited.
I played the game as I sacrificed my sleep and my boutique business. Last week,I was to receive Ksh 130,000 from the company. On Saturday morning, as I tried to login to my account, I realized I was unable to login. I tried to login the second time, only to realize I had been blocked.
When I contacted my friend who introduced me to the program, she also told me she was blocked.I tried to see the opinion of other players online, only to realize Safaricom had suspended the company’s Paybill number.
It pains me to see my 7 months savings disappear to selfish people. I am yet to come to terms that I have lost the money to Public Likes.
