A certain lady(name withheld) went to buy a television at Luthuli Avenue, what happened to her is beyond human imagination.Today the lady shared her story and here are the raw facts:
Kindly Kenyans,be aware of Conmen along Luthuli avenue,there are shops along Luthuli avenue just at Eastleigh stage that sell Electronics,mostly Television sets,home theatres and loud speakers etc.When you enter into those shops they have many people who pause there as Sales executives but all of them including owners of the shops are conmen.They show you one of the best TV sets such as Samsung’s and LGs that are on the display,give you substantial information but when you produce money and it is in their possession that’s when you encounter drama,trust me you will not take home the electronic you paid for,either you add like Kshs 5000 for the same or they change the quality of electronic.If you had paid like Kshs 20K for a 32″ Samsung TV and give them money,trust me you will either end up with a 24″ Samsung TV or you add like 5K and end up with a low quality TV,eg Skyworth,TCL.They have been doing this for a while and it is a connection even with Nairobi area police,because when you try to raise alarm they tell you to call the police.Let the PUBLIC be aware because I fell in this trap last Saturday,also remember that they change receipt particular s every week,so that you can’t be in a position to claim on any warranty.I feel for many Kenyans as this is happening just at the CBD and our administration is full aware of these menace.
