Our client, a well-established bus company is looking to recruit an Assistant Workshop Supervisor. He will be responsible for making sure the team is running as efficiently as possible, ensuring a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of customers and clients. Oversight of inventory, purchasing and supplies is central to the job.
Responsibilities.
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Assist in workshop work-floor activities
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Ensure buses are repaired in time and verification of job cards.
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Facilitate quick release of buses to go on route while at the required standards
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Ensure all job cards are allocated to the mechanics
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Preparing workshop reports
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Attendance of company management and departmental meetings where required.
Qualifications.
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Prior workshop working experience
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Understanding of stock management systems
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Ability to manage time and workload effectively
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Leadership skills
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Experience in negotiating and working with suppliers
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Strong problem solving skills
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Strong attention to detail
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Ability to engage and motivate others
Monthly net salary: Ksh. 40,000/negotiable
