As people stay at home and count losses, there are sectors which are not shaken by coronavirus. While others are praying that the virus should end, others are making profits each minute. Here is a list of sectors not affected by the virus.

E-commerce companies like Amazon and Alibaba have seen exponential increase in the number of orders made on daily basis. Amazon was even forced to employ more than 100,000 people to deliver products to customers.

People are scared to death, instead of walking to the supermarket, they opt to order and get the products delivered.

Almost every hospital in the world has seen a steady increase in the number of customers. Hospitals in countries like USA, UK, Italy and Spain are full, doctors are not enough and the countries have been forced to hire doctors from other countries.

Bloggers especially in the health niche are eating with a big spoon. This is one industry that’s raking in millions. A number of blogs have seen a surge in traffic over the past three weeks. People are idle at home and are actively searching for information online.

Another sector which is not affected is website hosting. People are looking for ways to make money online; they are also creating new websites.

  • Pharmacy

Anybody with a pharmacy is smiling all the way to the bank. Drugs like Chlorophyll, Panadol and other pain killers are moving off the shelves like never before.

  • Security

In times like this, people at home are cautious about their businesses. Security is a key sector because it’s the one responsible for protecting businesses. While other sectors have lost businesses, security sector is employing more people.
