This matatu was spotted in Nairobi streets,itโs the most unique nganya in Nairobi.When I saw it,I had to take several pictures to show my grandchildren in future. The owner took time to design the exterior and interior parts. Graffiti and decorations alone cost the owner over Ksh 2 million.
The buying price of a matatu is Ksh 8 million,if you add the cost of redesigning it and graffiti,the total cost is Ksh 10 million to Ksh 12 million.It is also installed with CCTV,comfortable chairs and TVs in every seat which cost over Ksh 1 million.
By the time the matatu starts operating, the owner has spent Ksh15 million.
The good thing is that matatu business is profitable in Nairobi.Each day,this Nganya generates Ksh 10,000 to Ksh 30,000.In a month the owner makes over Ksh 600,000.It takes 2 to 3 years for the owner to return his capital.
