Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service( KUCCPS) has announced that the 2017/2018 placement cycle has commenced and is currently only receiving applications by 2016 K.C.S.E. candidates through their respective schools/ centres. The school application will end on January 15, 2017.The body has also clarified that it will announce the dates revision of diploma and degree courses will take place.
The announcement was made on the institution’s website, which states:

NAIROBI, January 6, 2017
The Placement Service is pleased to announce that the 2017/2018 placement cycle has commenced and is currently only receiving applications by 2016 K.C.S.E. candidates through their respective schools/ centres. The school application will end on January 15, 2017.
Thereafter, an announcement on revision of degree and diploma course choices by the individual candidates will be made at an appropriate time through the media and the Placement Service website.

It is believed that all KCSE candidates who scored C+ and above will secure places in public university through Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service( KUCCPS),which will deny private universities opportunities to admit parallel students.
