DR.Oburu Odinga,Raila’s elder brother, has been declared winner for Bondo ODM parliamentary seat.
Oburu, who was defeated by incumbent Gideon Ochanda., found himself not comfortable with the result, ordering the sacking of returning officers and the entire teach which was overseeing the nominations in the County.
The new Siaya County Returning Officer, Joshua Anyona, entered the room ,nullified the previous results and announced the following results:
Oburu 15784
Ochanda 9538
Oburu is in celebratory mood as we speak and Ochanda is mourning his snatched victory.
Since Raila is ODM and ODM is Raila, nothing will change Anyona’s results.
Oburu will again face Ochanda in the general elections after the latter declared he will contest as an independent candidate.
