Former Nairobi Deputy Governor Policarp Igathe has secured a new job.Polycarp joins Equity Bank as the Chief Commercial Officer and his office will be based at Equity Headquarter in Upper Hill.
Polycarp will be among the highest paid bank employees in Kenya with a monthly pay in excess of Ksh 2.5 million. He will resume office end of May 2018.
The former Vivo CEO joined Nairobi County as the DG and left after Sonko failed to trust him. He has been jobless until Equity CEO James Mwangi reached out for him.
Meanwhile,Sonko has failed to get his new DG after the names of women he presented to Nairobi County Assembly were found to be scandalous. He is running the County on autopilot mode.
