There is a lot of tension in Jubilee, so much tension that the party resolved to postpone a meeting that was slated for tomorrow.
Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju wrote a letter confirming that there would be no meeting tomorrow. The letter reads in parts:
“After due consultations and after speaking with our parliamentary majority leader Hon.Aden Duale I am able to confirm that there will be no Jubilee Parliamentary Group meeting tomorrow and any media reports to the contrary have no basis”
The President and his deputy were expected in the meeting where they were to resolve cracks in their party. It was also confirmed the meeting was the reason Uhuru did not go for the African Union Summit in Mauritania.
