Several government employees will lose their jobs if found guilty of engaging in corruption, this is after President Kenyatta ordered heads of procurement and accounting units to step aside.
In a letter circulated to the newsrooms,Uhuru through Mwenda Njoka told the said humans to step aside with immediate effect and surrender their personal details for investigations.
The letter reads in parts:
“In this regard,Heads of Procurement and Accounting Units in Ministries,Departments,Agencies and State Corporations have been instructed to step aside with immediate effect”
The letter continues:
Further, the officers are required to submit personal information to the office of the Head of Public Service”
If the government takes serious this step, almost all the aforementioned persons will go home.
