First-year female student Getrude Chepkoech stabbed several times to death at Laikipia University by a man identified as Ezra who’s alleged to be her roommate’s boyfriend over unknown reasons.
She was a first year student pursuing Bachelor’s degree in English and literature.
According to report from the rest of the students ,the girl met her untimely death in the hands of her roommate’s boyfriend who stubbed her to death inside Peka hostels. The bona fide girlfriend was in the school writing her examination when all these things were happening.
The guy is known to be a bodaboda rider and after stubbing the lady, he tried to commit suicide using a knife when comrades met him and stoned him.
The police officers came to rescue the guy from the mob of angry students who was severely injured almost to death.
