    1. Cake-Making business

A secret has been revealed! Until recent Kenyans used to underrate this business but few entrepreneurs who started small made a lot of profits until their neighbors and friends copied them.

Cake-making is a lucrative business especially if one has good marketing strategy. You can be assured of making up to 100% profit and chances of making loses are minimal.

One advantage of this kind of business is that you don’t need to have millions to start; with only Sh.500, 000 ,you are ready to go.

One thing that will determine whether you’ll grow or not is the location of your business and how you treat customers. If your is in Nairobi or Mombasa then be assured of making extra ordinary profits.

    2. Real Estate
As the Kenyan population continues to increase, land has become very scarce. Owning land in Kenya is the best asset for anyone who intends to be rich.

If you have enough money to invest in real property please do so as early as today. If you buy land today for Sh.500, 000, regardless of the location, you will surely sell it at a profit even if it’s tomorrow.

Owning rental property in towns like Nairobi, Kisumu, Thika, Mombasa and Nakuru is the best thing that can happen to any Kenyan.

One of the biggest hurdles of dealing with real property is the capital required to effectively run the business.

    3. Car Hire/Taxi
Depending on the location, this business is one of the most profitable in the country and by extension East Africa. If your business is situated in Nairobi,Kisumu or Mombasa you can make very quick cash until you start doubting whether the money you have is genuine.

Nowadays people in towns don’t like using matatus to work, they prefer hiring a nice car and pay sya Ksh 3,000 per day for one month. If you’re running a car hire business then all these people will come to you.Others include  weddings, church functions, and visitors.

    4. Coffee Shop
These kinds of restaurants are found in major cities like Nairobi and Mombasa. They specialize in selling coffee, fresh juice and cakes.

Some of the owners of these shops are tycoons and they can tell you for free that their profits are counted in terms of Dollars.

    5.Hardware Store Business

Kenya is a developing nation and everywhere you go there is construction going on.If you set a hardware store anywhere in Kenya you will not miss to get customers.

One of the advantages of this business is that most of the products you’ll be selling don’t expire and in most cases you fix the prices of some of the products.

    5.Owning a Chemist

Though you are required  to be a registered Nurse,Pharmacist or Doctor to operate a chemist, you can partner with someone with this qualification or employ qualified professionals.

There is no time people will stop being rich so owning a Chemist will give you good returns.

We have interacted with many Kenyans who own Chemists and the success stories they are sharing are so inspiring. Most of them argue that since the products they sell don’t have fixed prices are able to determine profit margins by fixing prices .

    6.Car Wash

It’s considered dirty by degree holders but if you are the kind of person who want to be rich through all means then this is the kind of business for you.Set up the business in Nairobi,Kisumu,Nakuru,Eldoret or Mombasa and you won’t regret.

construction and real estate industry is booming in Kenya. But houses won’t be built without bricks or blocks. We have established that those who engage in the business get between Ksh200,000 to Ksh 3 million per month.

If you have stone crushers and equipment needed to do the business then you are ready to go.

    Car Tinting

Very few companies do this business, especially in Nairobi. When you join, you realize that competition is almost non-existence.

  • This is where corrupt Kenyans hide their money

Kenya is ranked among the most corrupt countries in the world; you can as even Robert Mugabe.
The rate at which people are stealing is worrying and if nothing is done, the country could collapse any time soon. The Jubilee manifesto did not have ‘corruption’ as the main issue to be tackled once they clinch power, so don’t ask them why they aren’t bothered by people stealing left, right and centre.

I know most of you are wondering where the money is stolen and why Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission has never recovered the money. This is where the corrupt leaders hide their money.

    In their homes

Recently, detectives from EACC stormed into one of corrupt leaders in the country, surprisingly they managed to recover Sh4 million hidden below a pillow.

This is a trick most corrupt people use in order not to leave a trail. They know that saving the money in banks could be traced.

These people have even dug holes in their compounds where they have hidden billions of shillings. That’s why their compounds are heavily guarded.

    Abroad

They don’t bother saving the money in local banks. They instead wire the money to countries where money laundering law doesn’t work. Such countries include Libya, Switzerland and many Arab countries.

Alternatively, they drop the money to their relatives abroad.

When you see these people making numerous trips abroad, don’t be cheated that they are working for you, they are actually looking for places to hide your money.

    Buying property

Corrupt people don’t like having money in liquid form. They normally buy land, apartments and shares but register with names of companies whose directors are not even known. You cannot trace the owners. Sometimes they register the property using their kinsmen names.

You always see houses being advertised at exorbitant prices. As you wonder who on earth will buy those houses,a corrupt person comes with the loot and purchase all the units.

These are the people who have made property prices to shoot up to a level where those depending on salaries won’t afford.

    Buying gold and diamond

A single gold could cost up to billions, which an ordinary person cannot afford. Corrupt people end up buying this gold and keep it in their homes. They later sell it to the government or companies.

    Starting a company

Corrupt people often start big companies and even if they make losses, they inject the money into the business and declare profits each year.

  • Bad December for Kenyans as KRA increase taxes for Petrol, water and beer

    KRA

There is nothing to celebrate in Kenya this Christmas as Kenya Revenue Authority unapologetically increased taxes for ‘essential’ commodities.

Starting from Tuesday December 1 2015, Kenyans will have to pay more for petrol, bottled water and beer as the new Exercise Duty take effect.

According to the taxman, a litre of diesel will cost Sh 3.7 more. The new tax will also see a litre of petrol costing Sh 10.3 more.

Beer lovers were also not spared as KRA imposed Sh 100 tax per litre, while a litre of wines and alcohol beverages obtained by fermentation will cost Sh 150 more.

Second hand motor vehicles that are less than three years old from the date of first registration will attract a duty of Sh150, 000 a unit while those more than three years old will attract an excise duty of Sh200, 000 a unit

Motorcycles will also attract Sh10, 000 tax, which is bad news for the bodaboda industry.

The taxes will push inflation figure to the roof as many Kenyans depend on some of the goods whose prices will increase significantly.

This is a festive month when most people will be travelling up country. We expect prices from Nairobi to Western Kenya to increase by 100 %.Those who will be travelling to Kisii will pay Sh2, 500 and the fare from Nairobi to Mombasa is expected to increase by Sh500

  • Why You are poor-Secrets of becoming rich

A huge population on earth are classified as poor, living under $1 a day. This population does not have the necessary information to enable them cross over to the other side.

There are several reasons why so many people are poor while a small number is rich. Here are the underlying reasons

    1. Never wake up early.
Keep stretching and turning in bed until you get too hungry to continue dozing. If there are no bedbugs, why hurry to get up.

    2. Never plan how to spend your money
Whenever you get money, start spending it right away and when it is finished, try to count and recall how you spent it

    3. Competing
Make sure you wear the latest clothes among all the workers in your office. Whenever your neighbor/friend buys a new phone, car or dress, you get one that is more expensive.

    4. Don’t think of saving until you have real big money
How can you save when you earn so little? That is for people who never went to school.

    5. Don’t engage in activities usually reserved for the uneducated.
How can you, a graduate, engage in petty trade or home-based production? That is for people who never went to school

    6. Don’t think of starting a business until an angel comes from heaven and gives you capital.
How do they expect you to invest before you get millions of shillings? Even though more than half the businesses in your town were started with a few hundred shillings. You as a smart person can only start with millions.

    7. Complain about everything except your attitude
Blame the system, government and the banks that refuse to lend you money. They are all bad and do not want you to get rich.

    8. Spend more than you earn
To achieve this, buy consumer products in credit and keep borrowing from friends and employer

    9. Get yourself nice second- hand car that costs more than three times your gross monthly pay
That will surely keep you in debt long enough to hinder the implementation of any bad plans that could make you accumulate capital.

    10. Give your children everything they ask for since you are such a loving parent.
They should not struggle for anything because you do not want them to suffer. That way, they will grow up lazy and hence poor enough to ensure they cannot help you in your old age.

If you diligently, implement these 10 great rules, you will not fail to invite poverty in great measures to your homestead.
