Safaricom has sacked 58 employees for stealing from unsuspecting Kenyans; this number exceeds the number of employees dismissed last financial year by two.

The giant Telcom Company has been receiving complaints from the public over the M-Pesa account and credit usage. The company has been following the cases and found that some of its employees are engaging in fraudulent activities.

The staff members involved in the crime were disciplined while other cases were forwarded to the police and Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation and prosecution.

This is good news for Kenyans especially those who raise complains to the most profitable institution in Kenya, Safaricom.
