Merit Scholarships for International Undergraduate Students
International students are automatically considered for several merit scholarships when they apply to UVM.
Most international students are considered to have out-of-state (not a Vermont resident) residency, and scholarship values are listed below. International students who are granted in-state status are eligible for in-state awards
Merit Scholarship Information for Out-of-State International Applicants:
International undergraduate admitted applicants to the University of Vermont are considered for these merit scholarships:

Merit Scholarship Information for In-State International Applicants:
International undergraduate admitted applicants who are determined, by UVM, to be in-state (Vermont) residents will be considered for these merit scholarships:

Vermont Scholars Award | $6,000-$7,000 |
Patrick Family Scholarship | $4,000 – $5,000 |
Justin Morrill Scholarship | $2,000 |

USPP and Global Gateway (GGP) students are eligible to be considered for USPP and GGP scholarships only.
