Do you know HELB loan can result in being listed at CBR? But the good thing is that if you find yourself in CRB,you can remove your name from the institution by doing this:
Start repaying the HELB loan through MPESA.To pay,use HELB Paybill number which is 200800
The least amount to pay every month is Ksh 500.Follow this procedure when repaying through Paybill:
Using M-PESA (Safaricom) Money Transfer: Select pay bill option. Enter HELB business number as 200800. Enter your national ID number as your account number.
Pay the amount for one to three months and then visit HELB office at Anniversary Towers.
At the HELB offices, talk to the officers to contact CRB so that your name can be removed from the list of defaulters. Alternatively, obtain a letter from HELB which you will present to CRB companies.
It’s not easy to be removed from CRB list, you need to pay some amount but as long as you can prove that HELB has given you a clean bill of health, your name will be removed from CRB.
When you are listed with CRB,you may not get a job in the government or obtain a loan from any financial institution.
