Information in our possession indicate that Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has officially quit NASA.
The former Vice President arrived at the decision after receiving information that a task force formed to pick the NASA coalition presidential candidate picked Raila Odinga and proposed Kalonzo as the Deputy.
Kalonzo argues that he cannot deputize Raila twice, adding that the 2013 coalition arrangement was to have Raila run for a single term and hand over to Kalonzo,whether he wins or not.
We are informed that some of the senior members of the Wiper Party are against Kalonzo’s decision.Johnstone Muthama,a wealthy politician who has been financing Kalonzo’s campaign as strongly opposed Tseikuro son’s decision: he has vowed to stick to NASA to the bitter end.
Sources say Kalonzo has been in talks with Jubilee coalition through his pointman,Omar Hassan, and both parties have agreed to work together in case a run off is declared during the August elections.
