Mixing fruits and vegetables is normal to some of us, but health experts advise against mixing some fruits together. Some mixtures may result to bloating stomach and difficult in digestion.

Here are fruits you should not mix together.

Fruit after Meals

Fruits require a lot of digestion time and should never stay long in the stomach. Eating them right after a meal can result in “wine” in your stomach. Which will eventually result in digestive problems such as acid reflux.

Mac and Cheese

Although a popular combination, it should be avoided at all costs. Macaroni are packed with starch which has a different digestion time than protein. Which leads to inevitable fermentation as well as digestive problems.

Meat and Cheese

This delicious omelette should be avoided because it contains too much protein in just one dish.

Vegetables and Cheese

Consuming this duo together will only result in bloating.

Bread/Noodles and Orange Juice

The acid content will destroy the enzyme responsible for starch digestion and this will result in digestive problems.

Melon and Watermelon

These fruits are meant to be consumed alone, not in combination with other fruits.

Bananas and Milk

Bananas and milk combination will significantly slow down your digestion. Which is bad news if you’re someone that is trying to lose the extra weight.

Fruit and Yogurt

This combination should also be avoided at all costs. As it will only result in a slowed down digestion and harmed intestinal flora, and in some cases even food poisoning.
