I am Christine from Kisumu.I am crying because my boss ate me during end year party and cheated that he would give me a job.
During the party,Mr Otieno,who is my boss, begged me to open for him my server. I rejected his request several times until he said he would promote me.During the party, he drove me to one of the hotels in Kisumu CBD and hired a room. I ended up opening my server to him.
During the act, he told me that he would promote me and increase my salary from Ksh 23,500 to Ksh70,000.Yesterday I reported to work knowing that I won’t earn peanuts anymore, my new title would be, ‘Operations Manager’. Immediately I stepped into the office,I found my boss, who almost ignored me.I went straight to sit in my desk knowing that he will call me into his office to break the good news… I even went round to hear what other staff were saying about me, now that I am going to be their boss.
After 4 hours of waiting, I decided to enter his office to ask why he wasn’t breaking the news. This is what he told me,”tulikulana kila mtu akafurahia.Ni wapi impeandikwa mwanaume alipe mwanamke sababu ya kuonja kitu Mungu amepeana?Rudi ukae mahali unakaa,ama kazi iishe”
