Finally! there is white smoke from State House. A highly placed mole at Orange House has informed us that Raila and President Kenyatta have agreed to end their differences and work together.
The two leaders have been meeting secretly since last week in the presence of former Nigerian president Obasanjo.After days of talks,Raila agreed to cancel his swearing in.
In the meeting,Raila was convinced that he has little(no) chance of becoming the president. He was further reminded of the consequences of the illegal swearing in.To be on the safer side,he was given this offer:
An office to be created for him complete with handsome pay, at least 3 chase cars, several body guards and retirement package. He was also promised 4 cabinet slots.
The president and the chief negotiator,Obasanjo ordered him to call off the planned swearing in.
Next week before Wednesday,Raila will hold a press conference to cancel the event.
