Women are now in trouble after this male contraceptive pill was imported to Kenya for the first time. Several chemists in Nairobi are stocking the pills and already men have started purchasing them.

Photos of the contraceptives were seen for the first time in Nairobi-they are cream in colour. The contraceptives are of the same size and shape as female contraceptives.

Experiments on the drug, dimethandrolone undecanoate or DMAU, were successful in the U.S . about a month ago. At least 83 men use the drug, seen as a major breakthrough in family planning, for one month. Kenya’s Ministry of Health has okayed the drug and any time from now,a sample of men will be selected and tests will be conducted.
