WHY Nairobi/EMBAKASI WEST
- I’ve lived, schooled, worked and do Business in this Capital City for the past 20years. I’m alive to the Social-Economic Challenges facing the City Dwellers.
- Unfortunately, these Challenges are exacerbated by Bad Politics, Ethnicity and majorly Poor-Leadership
- I Strongly believe I got sufficient Education, Skills, Experience, Exposure and Relevant Networks to help grow Nairobi to the next level – That Dream must first get Cultivated, Watered, Nurtured and later Sprout to the entire City (Maybe latter-on to the Entire Nation)…Now that Journey must begin from somewhere, and Embakasi West thus come to the fore.
MY POLITICAL AGENDA (4 Embakasi West)
My Blueprint for Transforming Lives in the Constituency revolves around the below ‘Areas of Intervention’ (Solutions)
- Health & Sanitization
- Water Scarcity (or Lack of it ) is Synonymous with Umoja, Tena, Kariobangi-South and the Neighborhoods. Water Jericans is normally the Welcoming Sight to many a visitor in the Region.
- My Administration seek to Establish New-Water-Points in every Court, School, Markets and Other Public Amenities. Both the New and existing Boreholes, Water Points and Water-Vendors must have Quality-Hygiene Certificates from Public Health Bodies before human consumption
- Currently Health Centers exist with No Medical Stocks – I will work with the National Government to ensure Constant Flow of Medicines and related Medical Equipments to help Improve Lives.
- Infrastructure
- Roads in the Region are Pathetic.
- My Administration seek to Construct long-lasting Roads that can withstand Harsh Weather, Floods etc
- I will Install Floodlights along All the Major (and Internal Service) Roads, Markets, Bus Stops and Key Shopping Centers
- Old Sewer-Lines shall be Unclogged and New Ones Constructed to ease flow of Affluence
- More Classrooms to help accommodate the ever Ballooning School Enrollments
- Business Growth and Entrepreneurship Development
My Administration will work with the Nation Government and Sector Players to help
- Ease Cost of Doing Business – by;
- Abolished redundant/Prohibitive Tax Regimes
- Lowering Business Registrations/Payments, but Broadening the Tax Collection Brackets to boost Tax Revenues
- Tax Holidays for New Entrants, Youth, Women and PLWD etc
- Incentives to Businesses Employing Youths, Women as a measure to combat Unemployment
- Encourage Entrepreneurs to venture more on Production; Hence promotion of Buy Kenya-Build Kenya Initiatives that Empowers Agricultural Productions, and the Manufacturing and Light-Industries that catalyzes Job Creation.
- Education and Empowerment Programs
Other than Building Additional Classrooms and School Amenities/Infrastructure that promotes Teaching and Learning – I shall also; Pay School Fees for Performing Needy Students
- Nurture Empowerment Programs, that Sponsors Youth, Women and PLWD to undertake Entrepreneurial Training which Equips them with Hands-On-Skills that broods;
- Employability
- Job Creation and
- Self Employments
- Partner with National Government, TVETS, NGOs and Development Partners to help Train my Electorates with Special Skillsets that cultivate Home-growth Solutions to our Local Challenges/Problems. For Example.
- Growth of Cottage Industries etc
- Special Job Arrangement with Foreign Governments/Regimes(Nurses needed in Canada, UK, Australia; Teachers of English Needed in Middle East and Asian Nations etc)
- Local Parliaments/Bunge la Wanainchi
Grassroot Stakeholder Involvement – Programs that brings all on board for Developmental Agenda that combat Socio-Economic Issues
