It’s now official NASA will boycott the presidential election scheduled for October 17,2017.
Information from Orange house reveals that Raila Odinga is contemplating pulling out of the race after it emerged that Ezra Chiloba will be in charge of the election process.
Raila was hoping that his former ally, Wafula Chebukati,will oversee the exercise but after the IEBC retreat in Naivasha,it was confirmed that Ezra will oversee the entire process while his boss,Chebukati will be tasked with announcing the result.Raila believes that the result might not be different from the previous one and hence no need to participate in an election where the outcome is predetermined.
NASA maintains that if Chiloba is retained as the IEBC CEO they will drop their presidential candidate from the race and move to the court of public opinion. But Uhuru has told them off and emphasized that even without NASA,the country will move on.
